Catalog description

This course explores the practice of global and cross-cultural leadership. The course will consider how cultural dimensions and other cultural factors influence interpersonal relationships between leaders, followers, and their organizations. Students will gain insights into effective leadership competencies in the global environment as the complexities of organizational leadership are vastly multiplied when cultural variables are introduced. This course will build upon prior learning in the MAOL program to build multi-disciplinary skills and competencies for students as they lead others who possess different values and customs. Prerequisite: MOL-515, MOL-520, MOL-525, MOL-530, and MOL-535; or MSL-533 and MSL-534.
