Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive review of diagnosing, servicing, and repairing modern vehicle engine systems. Students master diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot engine issues in conventional vehicles. The course covers complete engine systems including cylinder heads, engine blocks, lubrication, cooling systems, with extensive practice in the field disassembling systems, inspecting them, measuring, and reassembling procedures. Students will develop proficiency in routine maintenance tasks while building critical diagnostic skills for complex engine problems. The course emphasizes industry standard practices, proper tool usage, and workplace safety.
