Catalog description

Students in this course will review the foundational knowledge of doctoral business. The student's understanding of the common proficiency components (CPCs) of business will be reviewed and improved as needed. An emphasis is placed on developing the critical thinking skills and enhanced cultural awareness needed for the global marketplace. Application and implementation of course theories and concepts in an organizational setting will be addressed through embedded, experiential learning experiences, and activities within the course. This course is a prerequisite for the Doctor of Business Administration for incoming students that do not have an undergraduate or graduate degree in business. Students must complete this prerequisite course with at least a "B" by the end of the first term of the program.
