Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of mechanical vibrations. Topics typically include steady state and transient analysis of systems with single or multiple degrees of freedom, modal analysis and dynamic response of structures and machines, dynamics of continuous systems, Laplace transforms and stability. Prerequisites: MAT-255, MAT-265, and EGR-214.
