Catalog description

This course will expose students to warehouse functions, processes, organization, and operations. The course will focus on using the warehouse to create a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Topics such as warehouse location, operation, management, controls, procedures, finance, security, cargo/materials handling, and productivity will be discussed. The impact of globalization on warehouse management will also be examined. Students will apply Lean principals to warehouse management and operations. Integrating biblical and virtuous business principles into logistics processes within a global economy will be addressed.
