Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to various methods and tools used to enhance efficiency and quality within internal and market environments. Contemporary models such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, and Lean will be explored and examined. Students will learn how managers utilize organizational resources efficiently and effectively to achieve organizational goals supporting logistics and channel management. The impact of advancing technology and communications on logistics and channel management will also be addressed. Strategic management approaches to organizational logistics and how they interface with both internal and external customers will be addressed. Biblical and virtuous business principles will be integrated into production and operational interfaces.
