Catalog description

Students will explore the scientific basis of nutritional interventions, herbal therapies, and dietary supplements on health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management. The curriculum covers critical aspects of how to incorporate these elements based on the latest scientific evidence effectively. The course covers nutritional biochemistry, the impact of micronutrients and macronutrients on health, and dietary patterns that support optimal well-being, providing a rigorous scientific framework for their application within the integrative health framework. Prerequisite: IPE-501
