Catalog description
This capstone course requires students to complete an evidence-based applied research project addressing a contemporary intelligence or crime analysis problem or, with approval, a supervised internship experience in a professional setting. Students collect, evaluate, and synthesize data using appropriate analytic methodologies and technologies, including structured analytic techniques and emerging AI-supported tools. The course culminates in a professional portfolio featuring analytic products, a formal report, and a briefing. Emphases are placed on ethical decision-making, faith-informed analysis, and professional standards consistent with a Christian worldview, demonstrating readiness for professional roles in intelligence and crime analysis.
