Catalog description

This course examines emerging issues, technologies, and evolving practices in intelligence and crime analysis. Students explore advanced analytic applications, AI-enabled tools, evolving threat environments, and contemporary public safety challenges. Emphases are placed on applying structured analytic techniques to complex, ambiguous scenarios and evaluating the opportunities and limitations of emerging technologies. The course integrates ethical analysis and a Christian worldview that affirms discernment, stewardship, and moral responsibility in rapidly changing intelligence environments. These experiences prepare students to adapt professionally and engage in capstone-level analytic work in dynamic security contexts.
