This course examines victimization, community dynamics, and mental health perspectives within intelligence and crime analysis contexts. Students explore the social and psychological impacts of crime, trauma-informed approaches, and community-based public safety strategies. Emphasis is placed on incorporating victim-centered awareness, behavioral insights, and contextual analysis into intelligence workflows. The course also integrates ethical considerations and a Christian worldview that affirms compassion, justice, reconciliation, and respect for human dignity. These experiences prepare students to conduct intelligence analysis with cultural awareness and human-centered responsibility in public safety environments.
