Catalog description

An introduction to the discipline of history and its relationship to the Christian faith through the lens of the evolving interaction between Christians and Muslims. Special emphasis will be placed on the methods and theories of historical inquiry, the development of Christian and Muslim orthodoxies, the historical roots of conflicts, and convivencia between the two faiths, and contemporary expressions of the Muslim-Christian interaction.
