Catalog description

This course will emphasize the importance of developing, implementing, and evaluating activities and programs addressing employee training and development, performance appraisal, talent and performance management, and the unique needs of employees. Ensuring that the knowledge, skills, abilities, and performance of the workforce meet current and future organizational and individual needs will be addressed. Students will be challenged to establish their own plan for personal and career development and lifelong learning. A training and development project, intended to be a realistic job preview, will be completed by students in this course. Prerequisite: HRM-435 or HCA-365
