Catalog description

This class will foster skill development in a variety of printmaking methods, which could include but are not limited to monoprint/monotype, intaglio, relief, collagraph, and basic book making. Special emphasis will be placed on conceptual development, and formal considerations such as composition and stylistic possibilities particular to the medium of printmaking. By means of continued research and practice, students repeating this course will increase the complexity of their work: color, scale, edition amount, and technical proficiency.
