Catalog description

This course introduces foundational principles of organizational behavior within human services settings. Students examine leadership influence, organizational culture, systems thinking, team dynamics, motivation, and decision-making in mission-driven organizations. Emphasis is placed on ethical leadership, biblical integration, and professional identity formation. Students analyze how organizational structures and behaviors impact service delivery and community outcomes. This course establishes a conceptual framework for advanced leadership coursework and prepares students to engage organizational challenges within human services environments.
