Academic English, Writing, and Grammar I

Catalog description

In this course, students practice academic reading and writing at an introductory level, focusing particularly on narrative and basic expository genres. In addition, grammar is taught with the goal of improving reading comprehension and writing ability. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Students must earn an overall course grade of B- or higher to successfully complete this course; students with a lower grade must re-take this course.
