Academic English Listening and Speaking

Catalog description

This course trains students in the listening and speaking skills required to begin understanding and participating in introductory-level university classes, focusing on understanding main and key details and producing brief academic spoken English in presentations and interactions. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Students must earn an overall course grade of B- or higher to successfully complete this course; students with a lower grade must re-take this course.
