Catalog description

Followership represents one of the fastest growing topics in the leadership discipline. Within both the academic and professional contexts, leaders are beginning to recognize that high performance organizations require followership development as equally important to leadership development. This course examines the essentials of followership through the lens of executive leader opportunity and obligation to develop the organizational culture in ways to unleash the full capacity of organizational members to accomplish organizational purpose. Participants that complete the course with its certifying assessment at a grade "B-" or higher will achieve professional certification from the Center for the Advancement of Followership from the Division of Leadership and Followership Studies at Indiana Wesleyan University.
