Elementary Students with Diverse and Different Learning Needs

Catalog description

Candidates will examine characteristics of students with diverse and different learning needs, including the disabilities outlined in IDEA, and meeting their specific needs in the classroom. The course also emphasizes adaptations for creating a positive learning environment for students with diverse and different learning needs. Field experience required. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all courses in the Elementary Teacher Training Concentration.
