Empowering Innovators prepares candidates to inspire critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning in diverse middle school science classrooms. This course integrates project-based learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and culturally responsive teaching to create inclusive, flexible, and engaging environments that promote global awareness and real-world problem-solving. Candidates will explore strategies for leveraging digital tools, interdisciplinary approaches, and effective communication techniques to design data-driven instruction. Emphasizing formative and summative assessments, reflection, and goal setting, the course equips candidates to foster student engagement, motivation, and success in the modern, interconnected world.
