Catalog description

This course includes knowledge of major concepts related to strategies for engaging elementary students in the learning process and strategies for promoting elementary students' independent thinking and learning. Candidates also develop an understanding of standards-based instructional planning based on best practices. Additionally, candidates develop a broad understanding of how a teacher's dispositions facilitate student achievement.
