The course explores powerful instructional strategies that have been shown to accelerate and maximize student learning. With an emphasis on strategy-based learning and assessments that utilize data-driven decision-making to accelerate learning, the course sets the stage with social-emotional and organizational strategies designed to establish a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture. Participants then explore the newest and most effective cognitive, active, and metacognitive instructional strategies that close the achievement gap and accelerate student learning.
