Catalog description

Students work independently, under the guidance and in consultation with the Committee Chair, to develop the first three chapters of the dissertation. The content and outline of the chapters are guided by the standards of the Global Leadership Program. The student is expected to develop, write, and defend the dissertation proposal (including completing the IRB documents) prior to engaging in the proposed research. After the proposal has been reviewed and approved by the Committee, the Chair will schedule a Proposal Defense. Following the successful defense, the student is to file for IRB approval before moving ahead with the research. May be repeated twice (total of three times).
