Catalog description
This course critically examines innovation and the theories and models that support planning and process development and how they can be implemented. It investigates how leaders who initiate and direct major organizational shifts can mobilize, focus, generate commitment, and implement new directions in a multinational organization. The course combines theory, case material, models and accounts of how and why organizations change their cultures, purposes, structures, and/or operational processes. Students will undertake a detailed analysis of an organizational innovation they have experienced in their professional life. Theory & Application-based course.
