MSM majors: MSM 6400 ; MBA 5600 . An organization is able to compete more effectively when there is a shared understanding among the leaders and team members regarding the strategic direction and the requirements needed to achieve organizational goals. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of various theoretical perspectives on strategy and strategic planning as well as practitioner models used in organizations. The critical role of the leader in the strategic planning process is also evaluated.
