Generative AI and Prompt Engineering

Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the architecture, functionalities, and development of large language models (LLMs), such as the Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) series. Students will learn Prompt Engineering, the art of crafting prompts that effectively communicate tasks to language models to elicit the desired output. Students will explore strategies for designing prompts that leverage the capabilities of LLMs for various applications, from creative writing, image and video generation, to code generation.
