Catalog description

Today’s SMACIT technologies (Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud, Internet of Things) lead to a critical transformation of enterprises in the way they create, process, and organize information. Effective business strategies increasingly center on the intelligent use of digital technologies. This course offers an overview of role of digital concepts in enterprises. The course provides both a theoretical grounding and a pragmatic approach to applying key concepts. The course emphasizes a socio-technical perspective to understand organizational challenges and learning in complex implementation projects that include digitalization. The course focuses on the following digital solutions: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Knowledge Management, Enterprise Social Networking, Business Intelligence, and Business Analytics.
