Catalog description

This course is an introduction to works of literature with an environmental focus. Students will study a variety of texts produced in different time periods from the U.S. and around the world, focusing on the relationship between humans and the natural world, including both plant life, animal life, climate, and sustainability. Texts will include both fiction, non-fiction, and theoretical works, as well as film and art.
