Catalog description

Human Genetics explores the fundamental principles of heredity by examining how genetic information is transmitted from parents to offspring at the molecular, cellular, and organismal levels. Topics included are DNA and RNA structure, gene expression, epigenetics, Mendelian inheritance patterns, gene and chromosomal abnormalities/karyotypes. Also, disease processes and the applications of genetic analysis in medicine and research are explored.
