Professional Practice Experience

Catalog description

This course allows students to gain professional practice experience in a health information setting through 40 hours of externally supervised health information-related activities, including a project with a healthcare-related site. The experience is designed to give students the opportunity to apply knowledge from prior coursework to a real-world setting.
