Catalog description

This course introduces students to an important tool in investigation of violent crimes. Students will learn how principles of biology, physics, and mathematics used in Bloodstain Pattern Analysis help criminalists reconstruct events surrounding a violent crime and answer questions about the origin of blood; type of weapon used; number, relative position and movement of victims and perpetrators immediately prior and after the bloodshed.
