Adapted Physical Education

Catalog description

The course introduces the student to the adapted physical education paradigm and discusses adapted programs and techniques for students with developmental delays and/or cognitive and physical disabilities. Students will be introduced to the individual education plan and the legal aspects of adapted physical education and inclusion. Specific conditions commonly seen in adapted physical education will be explored.
