Terrorist Financing and Illicit Financial Networks

Catalog description

This course examines how terrorist organizations acquire, move, store, and spend financial resources. Students explore the intersection of terrorism, transnational crime, international sanctions, financial intelligence, and global regulatory frameworks aimed at combating terrorist financing. Students will become familiar with the legal, ethical, and policy-based approaches used by agencies such as the FBI, CIA, and other government agencies to identify and disrupt illicit financial flows.
