Catalog description

This course covers risk management from the public health, environmental risk, and emergency management perspectives. Students will explore vulnerability and risk assessment methodologies for natural disasters and man-made events. Students will also study risk response and control strategies as well as risk assurance and reporting. This course explains how risk management is an important component of emergency preparedness and overall emergency response management.
