Engineering Communication

Catalog description

This course develops two significant engineering communication skill sets: effective technical writing and effective oral presentations. Each student will create technical documents (such as work instructions and user manuals) and a technical paper suitable for publication in an engineering journal. Throughout the course, students will make oral presentations concluding with software-based capstone presentations of their technical papers.
