Catalog description

This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of computer architecture. It covers Instruction Set Architecture, Computer Performance and Cost, CPU Organization & Design, Instruction-Level Parallelism & Superscalar Processors, Memory Hierarchy & Cache Design, and IO interfacing. Through lectures, readings, and projects, students will learn how these components interact within a computer system to impact performance and efficiency.
