Catalog description

This course presents the principles of information/computer/network security, students will learn and understand how these principles are integrated into the systems life. Students will gain knowledge/ broad overview of various information security concepts, requirements, threat actors, malwares, vulnerabilities, cryptographic techniques and countermeasures. The students will learn the technologies used and techniques involved in creating a secure computer networking environment including authentication and the types of attacks against an organization.
