Urban Biomes and Waste

Catalog description

Co-requisite(s): BIO 4220 . As the penultimate course in preparation for senior projects, URBAN BIOMES AND WASTE brings environmental challenges of the greater Fort Wayne area into the classroom. Local officials and experts will direct semester-long learning topics in current disputes such as pollution control, waste management, public health, land development, or population dynamics. Primary literature will serve as the “textbook” in this course, facilitating student growth in research methods, analysis, and evaluation.
