Catalog description

Co-requisite(s): BIO 1360 . Core content areas of this course focus on sub-microscopic elements of all living organisms. Topics include foundational biochemistry, introductory cell biology, cellular energy production, genetics, cell-cell interactions, cell division, and developmental biology. Students will engage in critical thinking about biological processes, from the molecular mechanisms that drive cellular functions to the broad patterns of evolution that define life on Earth.
