Catalog description

Co-requisite(s): BIO 1330 . This laboratory course provides students with an authentic, research-driven approach to studying the nature of science, the diversity of life, and the interplay between living organisms and abiotic factors. Students will actively engage in research projects that contribute to the scientific understanding of biological systems, working on real-world problems and generating meaningful data that may inform ongoing scientific inquiry. Emphasis will be placed on using the scientific process to develop hypotheses, collect and analyze data, and communicate findings, fostering skills essential for both scientific research and professional collaboration.
