This course will present an overview of the legal environment from the perspective of the professional (non-legal) manager. The concentration for this course will be on the main sources of law, the major areas of common law that apply to managers, the major regulatory agencies that influence the management process, the components of employment law, and ethical theories and their implications in organizational decision-making.
