Prerequisite: None Corequisite: None Description: Examines Perkins and IDEA legislation through evidence-based practices to support English Language Learners and students with disabilities, identified as “special populations” through Perkins. Introduces construction of lesson plans within the career and technical classroom and shop setting to differentiate for the diverse needs of English Language Learners, including those with IEPs. Identifies effective instructional strategies to bridge gaps for English Language Learners to enable students to be 21st century career and college ready.
