Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: SPAN 230 Description: An introduction to the study of the phonological system of Spanish and emphasis on improving pronunciation. Includes a theoretical basis for under-standing the Spanish sound system, pronunciation practice and recordings, study of Spanish dialects, and linguistic analyses. Taught in Spanish. Required for Spanish education K-12 majors; highly suggested for Spanish majors.
