Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: SOC 151 or SOC 161. Description: Critically assesses empirical sociological research. Conduct research, evaluating the quality of research methods and data sources. Delineates the different goals, strengths and limitations of various modes of analysis. Evaluates representations of data in public discourse. Previously Offered As: Prior to Fall 2022, offered as SOC 461.
