Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Restriction: Non-Safety, Health, and Environmental Applied Sciences Description: Examines the relevance, impact and role that safety plays in the world today, especially in the workplace. Includes the historical and scientific development of safety and health regulations, the impact of injury on society, identification of hazards and hazard controls in specific industrial processes, and the personal and ethical responsibilities that individuals have for the safety and health protection of themselves, others and their community.
