Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Respiratory Care majors, a grade of “C” or better in RESP 334 and RESP 336 , or by Program Director permission Corequisite: RESP 426 Description: Discusses the normal anatomy and physiology, as well as the cardiopulmonary pathologies of neonatal and pediatric patients. Addresses unique differences between the respiratory care of infants and children versus the adult. Focuses on the application of respiratory therapies to neonatal and pediatric populations in the acute care, intensive care and home care venues.
