Prerequisite: REPL 350 and REPL 352 Corequisite: None. Restriction: None. Dual Listed: GEOG 558, currently titled “Planning Law”, but will be retitled to match this course: Planning Policy and Land Use Law. A course name change for GEOG 558 will be submitted concurrently with this course revision proposal. Description: Examines the relationship of policies that guide a Plan, procedures that implement a Plan, and the legal underpinnings that authorize and restrict a Plan. Analyzes steps of the Planning Process and benchmarks for implementation. Applies legal principles from tested case law that authorizes the Planning Process. Cross-Listed: No
