Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: PHYS 131 , PHYS 132 ; MATH 125 , MATH 126 Prerequisite or Corequisite: MATH 341 or department permission Description: Explores the applied mathematics necessary to solve ordinary and partial differential equations in closed and series forms for boundary value problems in intermediate and advanced physics. Coordinate transformations, tensor analysis, special functions, and series involving complex variables and integral transforms are also considered.
