Class Hours: 0 Lab/Discussion: 3 Credits: 1 Prerequisite: CHEM 112 and PHYS 132 and MATH 126 Corequisite: PHYS 341 Restriction: none Description: Designs and implements experimental protocols to produce reliable data in calorimetry, thermodynamics and kinetics. Employs experimental and computational techniques to quantify a variety of physical chemistry systems, including thermodynamic properties, macromolecular assemblies and phase changes. Assesses the quality of collected data using a range of mathematical tools, including linear and non-linear regression. Cross-Listed: Yes
