Class Hours: 3 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 3 Prerequisite: MATH 105 or appropriate mathematics placement test score Description: Explores matter and energy. Uses algebra and trigonometry to examine the foundational principles of physics. Examines linear and rotational motion, energy, work, and momentum. Application of Newton’s laws of motion is a critical component of this course. Investigates oscillations, waves, fluids, and heat.
