Class Hours: 2 Lab/Discussion: 0 Credits: 2 Prerequisite: NURS 316; grades of “C” or better in NURS 330 and NURS 331 and NURS 332 and NURS 333 and NURS 336 and NURS 337; or by permission Corequisite: NURS 431 or by permission Restriction: Nursing majors only Description: Introduces public/community health nursing care for the individual, family, population, and global community. Examines the influences of the healthcare delivery system, technology, and theoretical frameworks applicable to public/community health. Determines the impact of the environment, social determinants of health, health policy, and current issues in the public/community health nursing setting.
